Scenario

Paris, 1789. This escape room takes you on the trail of the Man in the Iron Mask. You and your companions have been mandated by the Revolutionary Tribunal to shed light on the existence of this legendary prisoner. In one hour, the Bastille will fall: you will have very little time to complete your investigation and escape. Shackled by heavy chains, locked inside this grim cell, your chances of breaking free are slim. After all, no one has ever escaped the dungeons of the Bastille.

Need help ? Here's our FAQ

DOES THE ESCAPE GAME "THE BASTILLE DUNGEON" SCARY?

No, it is not a horror game but rather a dark and captivating historical immersion. The Bastille Dungeon begins in darkness to enhance realism and place players in the shoes of 18th-century prisoners. The atmosphere is mysterious and immersive, but never terrifying: there are no frightening actors or jump scares. The goal is to entertain and challenge your mind in a historical setting, perfect both for escape game enthusiasts in Paris and families curious about experiencing a unique adventure.

HOW LONG DOES THE ESCAPE GAME LAST?

The game lasts 60 minutes, but plan about 1h15 including briefing and welcome. Like any escape room, the adventure is timed: you have one hour to explore the dungeon, solve puzzles, and attempt to escape before the fall of the Bastille. Add a few minutes for instructions at the beginning and a friendly debriefing at the end. Overall, expect about 1h15 for the complete experience.

WHAT IS THE PRICE OF THE ESCAPE GAME?

Prices start at €19 per person for a full team. The more players you have, the lower the price per person. At six players, the price is €19/person, making it one of the most affordable escape rooms in Paris for such quality. Smaller groups pay a little more, since the rate is calculated based on the number of participants. This sliding scale pricing allows families, friends, and colleagues to enjoy an immersive activity at the best value. Full details are available on our booking page.

HOW TO BOOK WITH HOLIDAY VOUCHERS / UP SPORT & LEISURE?

The easiest way is to book your escape game online as usual, pay by credit card, and on the day of your visit we will refund you in exchange for your holiday vouchers.

The other option is to come directly to our venue and book on site using your holiday vouchers.

IS THE ESCAPE GAME AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH?

Yes, the room is available in both French and English. You can select the language when booking. The escape game is perfectly suited for both French-speaking players and international visitors. It is a unique activity in Paris for families or groups of friends who want to discover the history of the Bastille in a different way.

FROM WHAT AGE CAN CHILDREN PLAY?

The escape game is accessible from 9 years old, provided that an adult joins the team. The puzzles are designed to stimulate logic and observation: children can actively participate from 9 years of age, but will need adult support to progress. As a family, it’s an original and educational activity that allows kids to discover the French Revolution in a fun and immersive way.

IS AN ADULT REQUIRED?

Yes, at least one adult is required for groups of minors. Escape games are collaborative adventures requiring logic, coordination, and sometimes manipulation of objects. For safety and smooth gameplay, children or teens must be accompanied by an adult. It also strengthens team bonding and makes for a true family experience.
